ASCENSION OF THE WATCHERS: FEAR FACTORY Singer's Side Project To Perform In NYC

ASCENSION OF THE WATCHERS, the project formed by Burton C. Bell (vocalist of FEAR FACTORY) and John Bechdel (keyboardist, ex-PRONG, ex-KILLING JOKE),will make their live debut on Sunday, February 6 at CBGBs in New York City. Also appearing will be FALSE ICONS and STILL LIFE DECAY.

Although Bell and Bechdel are known for their work in extreme, heavy music, ASCENSION OF THE WATCHERS is a very different animal. Bell says that the music produced by ASCENSION OF THE WATCHERS is "created from emotion and a passion for this world. It is intensely melodic and hypnotic, creating visions of musical landscapes. These are the sounds that resonate through my mind and these are the words that echo through my unconscious." Burton provides vocals and guitars while John handles bass, keyboards, and programming. The duo have produced a five-song EP, titled "Iconoclast", which is set for release this year, but have never before performed in a live setting, making this date at CBGBs a momentous occasion.

ASCENSION OF THE WATCHERS will be launching a new official web site and webstore in February. More live performances are expected throughout 2005 in select U.S. and European cities.
